Gatewood is expected to compete for playing time at guard during her first season on the Hammermill Center floor in 2015-16 … transferred to Gannon from NCAA Division I Appalachian State prior to the 2015 spring semester … will have one year of eligibility remaining.

2014-15: Did not play.

2013-14 (At Appalachian State): Played in 16 games … recorded career-highs in points (6) and rebounds (4) at Chattanooga … logged a season-high 20 minutes against Western Carolina … tallied four points, three assists and three steals against the Catamounts.

2012-13 (At Appalachian State): Saw action in 22 games as a true freshman, earning her first collegiate start against Furman … grabbed four rebounds in a game three times … played a season-high 22 minutes during a victory at the College of Charleston … scored a season-best four points against Lees-McRae and Western Carolina.

High School: Played for head coach Julie Solis at Twinsburg (Ohio) High School … helped Twinsburg record a 52-3 record during her final two seasons … was part of two Ohio Division I championships … helped Twinsburg win four district championships and two regional titles … averaged six points, eight rebounds and five steals during her high school career … led Twinsburg to a perfect 27-0 record en route to a state title as a junior … earned all-conference honors … served as a team captain.

Personal: Criminal Justice major … has one sister and one brother … is the daughter of Demetra and William.
