Biography

Bright returns as one of Gannon’s starting attackers in 2016 … enters her senior season 24th all-time at Gannon in assists (24).

2015: Did not play due to an injury.

2014: Played in 16 matches, starting 15 … led Gannon in assists (21) … finished fifth on the team in points (32) … ranked 11th among Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) players and 46th nationally in assists per match (1.31) … dished out a season-high five assists during the second match of the season at Florida Southern … recorded three assists during a 12-11 victory against Shippensburg … had multiple assists in a match six times, leading to a 4-2 record … dished out an assist during 11 of 16 matches … tallied a season-high three goals en route to a four-point performance during a 19-5 victory at Young Harris … scored a pair of goals during back-to-back road matches at Bloomsburg and East Stroudsburg … produced at least three points in a match seven times … picked up a season-high three ground balls during home matches against Lenoir-Rhyne, Shippensburg and West Chester.

2013: Saw action in 11 matches as a true freshman, starting two … dished out her first career assist at Limestone … made her first career start during a 19-9 victory against Notre Dame (Ohio) ... scored her first career goal against the Falcons … added two points with an assist and a goal during a 19-7 win at Kutztown … led Gannon to a 4-1 record when recording a point and 3-0 mark when scoring a goal … picked up six ground balls throughout the year, including a season-high two during a 21-14 victory at Lake Erie … won her first career draw controls at Indiana (Pa.) in the PSAC Quarterfinals … caused her first career turnover three days earlier at IUP in the regular-season finale.

High School: Played for head coaches Laura Fortney, Chelsea Barrow and Jeffrey Carpenter at Rancho Bernardo (Calif.) High School … earned All-Palomar League first-team honors as a senior … helped Rancho Bernardo win the Palomar League championship for the first time in school history as a junior, finishing as the CIF-San Diego Section Runner-Up (best finish in school history) … was a four-time Rancho Bernardo Scholar-Athlete … selected to the Union Tribune All-Academic Team twice … served as a Peer Counselor, the Link Crew Leader and the Yearbook Editor-in-Chief … was a member of the honor roll and the California Scholarship Federation.
