Roose is expected to compete for playing time at the infield corners in 2014.

2013: Saw action in 15 games as a true freshman, starting eight … received four starting assignments at third base and four as a designated player … named a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete … earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Scholar-Athlete honors ... recorded two multiple-hit games, including a 2-for-2 showing during an 11-4 victory against the University of Mary (N.D.) in her collegiate debut … added another two hits in three at-bats with one double and one run during a 9-3 win against St. Anselm (N.H.) … recorded a hit during her first five appearances, hitting .636 (7-11) with two runs during that opening five-game stretch … drove home her first career run during a 5-4 victory against Bethel (Minn.) in the final contest of the National Training Center Games in Clermont, Florida … produced three hits in five plate appearances as a pinch hitter.
