Biography

2009: Expected to compete for a starting position … enters the season second all-time at Gannon in sprint-offs (60), 10th in drawn penalties (32), 17th in goals (27) and 19th in assists (19) … is also a member of the Gannon swim team.

2008: Finished as one of six Golden Knights with double-digit goals … led the team in sprint-offs (53) … recorded the third-highest single-season sprint-off total in school history, fall two shy of the school record … named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPA) Men’s Water Polo All-Academic “Excellent” team, which is reserved for student-athletes with cumulative grade-point averages between 3.2 and 3.4 … named to the Division II Eastern Championships All-Tournament first team after scoring four goals during a 13-11 semifinal victory over Queens (N.Y.) … opened the season with a goal against Lindenwood (Mo.) at the U.S. Naval Academy Tournament … recorded a hat trick against rival Mercyhurst … netted two goals during victories over Penn State Behrend and Washington & Jefferson … scored multiple goals in a match three times.

2007: Was Gannon’s sixth-leading scorer as a true freshman with 16 goals … finished second on the team in earned kickouts (15), fourth in assists (8), and fourth in steals (17) … recorded a hat trick during a 13-8 victory against Queens (N.Y.) at the Princeton Tournament, accounting for his first three career goals … added a goal later that same day against NCAA Division I Santa Clara … scored in 10 different matches, including a streak of four straight in late October.

High School: Played for head coach Neil Postas at Cathedral Prep (Pa.) High School ... earned all-state accolades as a senior … was a three-year letterwinner … named team’s best offensive player during his final year … served as a team captain his senior season … selected as the program’s most improved player as a junior … named Rookie of the Year as a freshman … named MVP of the 2005 Troy Invitational Tournament … was a two-sport athlete, being a member of the water polo and swim teams … earned all-america and all-state honors as a swimmer … was a four-year letterwinner in swimming … served as a team captain … selected as the team’s Rookie of the Year as a freshman and Most Valuable Swimmer as a senior.
