2015-16: Named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … participated in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard IM, 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke and 100-yard breaststroke as a true freshman … named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Rookie of the Week twice … earned his first weekly honor February 4 after placing three times at the Pidgeon Memorial Invitational, finishing third individually while swimming the 200-yard backstroke for the first time with a PSAC-qualifying time of one minute and 58.41 seconds … swam the second leg during third-place finishes at the Pidgeon Memorial Invitational in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:13.84) and 800-yard freestyle relay (7:20.50) … picked up his second weekly accolade February 25 after earning a pair of All-PSAC honors by helping the 200-yard freestyle (1:24.37) and 400-yard freestyle (3:06.25) relay teams finish third at the conference championships … swam the second leg for the 400-yard medley relay and third leg for the 200-yard freestyle relay at the PSAC Championships … finished the 100-yard backstroke at the conference championships in 52.20 seconds, representing the third-best time in program history … swam a 1:44.27 time during the 200-yard freestyle prelims at the PSAC Championships, equaling the ninth-fastest time all-time at Gannon … posted a pair of times worthy of the program’s all-time top 10 at the Wooster Invitational, completing the 100-yard freestyle in 46.93 (sixth) and 200-yard IM in 1:57.76 (ninth) … recorded 26 PSAC-qualifying times in six different events … met conference standards during every attempt in the 50-yard freestyle (3), 200-yard freestyle (6) and 100-yard backstroke (4) … produced PSAC-qualifying times during nine of 10 attempts in the 100-yard freestyle … captured individual gold medals in the 100-yard freestyle (50.40) at Shippensburg and 100-yard backstroke (55.97) against Tiffin … recorded 12 top-three finishes … finished runner-up or won the 100-yard freestyle five times in eight races … competed with relay teams in the 200-yard freestyle, 400-yard freestyle, 800-yard freestyle, 200-yard medley and 400-yard medley … swam the second leg for the 400-yard freestyle relay team that broke the school record (3:05.03) at the Wooster Invitational and later set a new Carneval Athletic Pavilion Pool record (3:10.57) against NCAA Division I Canisius … was part of seven relay titles, including three in the 400-yard freestyle … helped the 400-yard freestyle relay team place among the top three during all six races he competed in … swam the third leg for the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team at the Case Western Tri-Meet (1:27.78) … served as the anchor for the 200-yard freestyle relay team that won gold (1:28.46) against Tiffin … opened the season with relay victories in the 500-yard crescendo freestyle (4:17.53) and 400-yard IM (3:46.94) at the Westminster (Pa.)
