2014: Springer returns as one of Gannon’s starters on defense … enters the campaign 21st among Gannon players since 2002 in matches started (40) and 29th in matches played (45).

2013: Was one of four Golden Knights to start all 18 matches … was part of a defense that ranked fourth among PSAC teams in saves per match (5.06) and seventh in shutout percentage (0.22) … scored his first career goal during a 5-1 victory against Pitt-Johnstown … added a second score that tied the match during a 3-2 win at California (Pa.) … took a shot during nine of 18 matches.

2012: Played in nine matches, starting six … started the first two matches of the season, helping defeat West Virginia Wesleyan (4-3) and Davis & Elkins (3-1) … came off the bench during his next three appearances … was in the starting lineup for his final four matches … helped the Gannon defense rank second among PSAC teams in save percentage (.812), second in winning percentage (.684), fourth in shutout percentage (0.32) and fifth in goals against average (1.28).

2011: Saw action in all 18 matches, making 16 starts … played for a defense that ranked third among PSAC teams in shutouts (4) … recorded his first career assist against Urbana … took six shots during the season.

2010: Redshirted.

High School: Played for head coach and former Gannon standout Gareth Kolkenbeck-Ruh at St. David's Marist Inanda in Johannesburg, South Africa ... earned specific honours for soccer ... named house head of sport ... was a member of teams that won the Kloof Soccer Festival and Grey college soccer tournaments.

Personal: Marketing major ... has one sister ... is the son of Rosie and Shaun.
