Matthews will compete for playing time in the midfield.

2010: Saw action in 10 matches … took six shots on the season … recorded one assist against Millersville.

2009: Played in all 18 games for the Golden Knights, making three starts ... one of only two players to record time in every match ... collected first career assist in a start against Alderson-Broaddus ... finished the season with four shots on goal.

High School: Played for head coach Sam Tojaga at Cathedral Prep (Pa.) High School … was a three-year letterwinner … named to the District 10 All-Star team … led Cathedral Prep to four consecutive District 10 championships … was part of back-to-back state quarterfinal teams … graduated with honors … received the leadership and business grants.

Personal: Accounting major … has two brothers … son of Kimberly and Robin Matthews.
