2024: Ferrer had an outstanding 2024 season, anchoring the Golden Knight back line and earning multiple postseason honors for his performance…He was named the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive season, having previously earned this honor in 2023… Additionally, Ferrer was the 2022 PSAC West Freshman of the Year and is now a three-time selection for the PSAC West First Team…He received All-Atlantic Region First Team honors for the second straight year and was also named to the United Soccer Coaches Division II All-Atlantic Region First Team, after previously earning Second Team recognition in 2023...Ferrer made the United Soccer Coaches Division II All-America Third Team as well…Ferrer played a crucial role in a strong Gannon defense that allowed just 19 goals and recorded 10 shutouts, holding opponents to fewer than nine shots per game…He also contributed on the offensive side, finishing with eight assists, which brings his career totals to 28 assists and 11 goals…Some highlights from Ferrer's 2024 season included six shots against West Chester on November 15, two of which were on goal, two assists versus Lock Haven on October 5, and a season-high 97 minutes played in the NCAA Tournament match against Franklin Pierce on November 24…Ferrer is now one of three Gannon players to earn the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Year award, joining past honorees Bautista Corti (2021) and Chandler Hallwood (2019)… He is also the first Golden Knight to win this award in back-to-back seasons… Ferrer’s contributions were instrumental in Gannon’s successful 2024 season, which concluded with a 14-4-3 overall record and an appearance in the NCAA Division II Tournament.
2023: Was named a D2CCA All-American after being named the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Year and earning first team All-PSAC West honors for the second time … was also a D2CCA All-Atlantic Region first team selection and United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region second team honoree … was named the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week six times … played in and started 20 matches, missing the final two playoff games due to an injury … led a Gannon defense that held opponents to 20 total goals and an average of 11.7 shots per game with seven shutouts while also serving as a catalyst on offense … finished with seven goals and 15 assists for 29 points ... led Division II in assists and was third in assists/game … the 15 assists are tied for fourth in a season at Gannon … had three-game-winning goals … credited with two assists in four matches.
