Bowen returns as one of Gannon’s starting defenders in 2015.

2014: Played in every match, starting 16 … accumulated 11 ground balls, seven caused turnovers and one draw control … recorded her first career ground ball during the season opener at St. Leo (Fla.) …  picked up a season-high three ground balls and caused her first career turnover during a 13-8 victory against Lenoir-Rhyne in the home opener … had multiple ground balls during a match three times … caused a pair of turnovers during a 13-10 win at Millersville.

High School: Played for head coach Trish Sullivan at Mt. Hebron (Md.) High School … helped Mt. Hebron win back-to-back regional championships in 2011 and 2012 … was a three-sport athlete … served as a team captain for the varsity basketball program.

Personal: Nursing major … has one sister and one brother … is the daughter of Elizabeth and Otis.
