Kightlinger enters his seventh season as a member of the Gannon women’s soccer coaching staff. The former Gannon great was one of the best to ever protect the Gannon net during his playing days. He played from 1992-95, ranking fourth all-time at Gannon with a 1.16 career goals against average. His seven career shutouts rank sixth all-time in school history.
Kightlinger’s best season came in 1995 when he posted a 0.85 goals against average, the seventh-lowest single-season mark in school history. He recorded seven shutouts that season, the fifth-highest single-season total all-time at Gannon. In addition, his 73 saves in 1995 tied the 10th-highest single-season mark in school history at the time.
