AT CHESTNUT HILL: Played the last three seasons at Chestnut Hill along with one season at Division I Towson … started all 57 games the last two years at Chestnut Hill, leading the Griffins in rebounding, assists and steals both years and had 180 assists as opposed to 87 turnovers … in 2022-23 helped the Griffins finish with a 16-14 record, losing to Northern Division regular season champion Caldwell 67-65 in the CCAC semifinals … played in and started all 30 games, averaging 9.6 ppg. and a team-leading 6.3 rpg. … also paced the Griffins in assists (91) and steals (33) while committing just 42 turnovers … shot 41.4 percent from the floor (101-of-244), making 33-of-105 3-pointers (31.4 pct.), and 88.3 percent from the line (53-of-60) … scored in double figures in 14 games with four games of 10-or-more rebounds … recorded one double-double … scored a season-high 20 points against Bridgeport and had a high of 11 rebounds on two occasions … in 2021-22 Haughton started all 27 games for a Chestnut Hill team that finished at 14-13 … was third on the team in scoring at 12.3 ppg. while once again leading the Griffins in rebounding (7.2 rpg.), assists (89), and steals (38) … committed just 45 turnovers … scored in double figures in 18 games, including a career-high 24 points in his first game as a Griffin against Adelphi … had four games with double-figure rebounds, including a career-high 16 on two occasions, and recorded three double-doubles … shot 43.6 percent from the floor (127-of-291), making 26-of-90 3-pointers (28.9 pct.), and was at 75.0 pct. from the charity stripe (51-of-68) … in the classroom, Haughton was a two-time CACC Men's Basketball All-Academic Team honoree.
AT TOWSON: Began his career at Division I Towson, playing for the Tigers in 2019-20 … averaged 2.8 points in six games, scoring a season-best 17 points in a win over Bryn Athyn … helped Towson win 19 games and finish third in the Colonial Athletic Association with 12 conference victories.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Bill Barton at South Kent High School in Kent, Ct. … was a two-time All-Baltimore Catholic League honorable mention selection (2017 and 2018) while playing at John Carroll (Md.) High School and played his senior season at South Kent (Ct.) School … was named to the All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention team after averaging 12 points, six assists and four rebounds per game.
PERSONAL: Received his bachelor's degree in Accounting from Chestnut Hill and is now working on his MBA  … son of Michelle and Mark Haughton … has one brother (Quincy).
