Biography

2024-25:  Appeared in 26 games with six starts, averaging just under 19 minutes per game … missed over a month late in the season due to an injury before returning for the NCAA Tournament … averaged 6.9 points and 3.6 rebounds with 85 assists and 35 steals … shot 43.2 percent from the floor  scored in double figures eight times with a season-high 19 points in back-to-back games vs. Indiana (Pa.) (1/8/25) and at Edinboro (1/11/25) … made 8-of-9 field goals, including all three 3-pointers, adding five rebounds vs. IUP … had nine points and a season-high 10 assists at Mansfield (12/6/24) along with 12 points and seven assists vs. California (Pa.) (1/4/25) … had high of eight rebounds vs. West Virginia State (1/2/25). 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for one of the top teams in the District of Columbia, Jackson-Reed High School, for head coach David “Tee” Johnson … played for two District of Columbia Interscholastic Athletic Association (DCIAA) championship teams and two DCSAA runner-up teams … the Tigers ended the year with an impressive 33-3 record and appeared in the ESPN national rankings, getting as high as 22nd … they played in eight different classics across 36 games in two and half months. Along the journey, the team won on big stages—beating ESPN-ranked #18 Bullis (MD), #17 Wasatch Academy (UT), and regional and DMV private schools Archbishop Ryan (PA), Bishop McNamara (MD), and Clinton Grace Brethren (MD) … as a senior was an All-State and All-League selection in the DCIAA … the Tigers were ranked second in the state … averaged 8.4 ppg. for a very balanced team, adding 2.8 rpg., 2.8 assists and 1.6 steals … shot 54 percent from the floor, making 31-of-69 3-pointers, and was at 68 percent (43-of-63) from the line … concluded his career playing in the 2024 Capital All-Star Classic … as a junior in 2022-23 Jackson-Reed had a 28-8 record and was once again second in the state … averaged 6.0 ppg. and 2.2 rpg. as a junior, shooting 48 percent from the floor and making 28-of-68 3-pointers … also an Honor Roll student. 

PERSONAL:  Finance major with a minor in Entrepreneurship … son of Katarzyna Ejsmont and Joe Sekasi … has one brother (Zac Sekasi) and one sister (Julia Sekasi).
