Brown is a proven scorer … is considered a “gym rat” who loves the game … has solid collegiate experience… transferred from NCAA Division I Coppin State (Md.) … has one year of eligibility remaining … originally enrolled at Monroe (N.Y.) Community College, before moving to Coppin State prior to the 2009-10 season.

At Coppin State: Played in every game, starting 16 … led Coppin State last season in points per game (10.0) and three-pointers (57) … averaged 2.3 rebounds per game … added 37 assists and 20 steals while averaging 27.4 minutes per game … scored a season-high 23 points at Navy … added 11 points at USC … reached double digits in scoring 14 times … concluded the season with 18 points at Morgan State and 16 points against Maryland Eastern Shore … led Coppin State in scoring nine times, including each of the last two regular-season contests.

At Monroe Community: Spent two seasons at Monroe Community College … averaged 15 points per game in 2008-09, helping lead the team to a 30-7 record and a berth in the national tournament … named to the national all-tournament team … participated in the National Junior College Athletic Association All-Star game … averaged 12.6 points per game as a freshman.

High School: Played for head coach Craig Parker at New London (Conn.)
