HIGH SCHOOL:  A four-year varsity starter for the Poly-Tech Engineers and head coach Sam Brand … was named the Baltimore City Player of the Year and Maryland State Player of the Year as a senior in 2018 after averaging 18.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game … a two-time first team All-Metro selection (2017 and ’18) and second team in 2016 … led Poly to consecutive 3A state championships his final two seasons and also won a pair of Baltimore City championships in 2016 and 2018 … Poly’s all-time leading scorer with 1,516 career points … recorded four 30-point games and seven double-doubles during his senior season.
