Khayree Con.-McChristian

Connors-McChristian begins his first season as a member of the Gannon coaching staff in 2013. He earned all-conference second-team accolades as a redshirt senior in 2012. The former defensive back was Gannon’s leading tackler through six games until suffering a season-ending injury. He finished with 55 tackles (22 solo, 33 assists), four tackles for a loss (11 yards) and two forced fumbles. Connors-McChristian was among the PSAC and national leaders for the majority of the season, but didn’t play in enough games to qualify for the statistical leaders at the end of the campaign.

The Sicklerville, N.J., native still finished as Gannon’s fifth-leading tackler despite missing the final five games. Connors-McChristian reached double digits in tackles twice last season, including a career-high 15 stops against nationally-ranked Bloomsburg. He had 223 tackles, 13.5 tackles for a loss and seven forced fumbles during his collegiate career.
