Florida Tech – 2012-2019
  • Served as offensive coordinator for the entirety of Division II Florida Tech’s football program
  • In his seven seasons at the helm of the Panther offense, the team averaged at least 23 points in every season, including leading the Gulf South Conference and ranking 23rd in the nation with 37.4 points per game in 2016
  • Florida Tech reached the NCAA Division II playoffs twice (2016, 2018)
  • Running back Antwuan Haynes still ranks seventh in GSC history with 3,496 career rushing yards
  • A pair of Martin’s offensive players landed spots on the Gulf South’s all-decade team of the 2010s in wide receiver Xavier Milton and tight end Kenny Johnston
  • Coached 30 All-Gulf South selections and five All-Americans
Rose-Hulman – 2008-2010
  • Began his college coaching career at Division III Rose-Hulman, serving as offensive coordinator all three years, as well as interim head coach during the 2010 season
  • Finished in the top three in scoring offense in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference all three seasons
  • Led the league in scoring offense (36.5) and total offense (428.2) in 2009, guiding conference Offensive MVP Derek Eitel
  • That offense also broke Rose-Hulman program records for points scored (365), total offense (4,282), passing yards (2,849) and touchdowns (73)
Early Career
  • Coached at Holy Trinity Academy in Melbourne, Florida, serving as varsity offensive coordinator and head junior high coach from 2004-2007
  • Got his start in coaching from 2000-2002 as quarterbacks coach at Henry Clay High School in Lexington, Kentucky
