Biography
Giordano is expected to compete as a base for the third consecutive season in 2017.
2016: Competed as a base … was part of a Gannon program that finish fifth in the co-ed division at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate Cheer and Dance National Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida … helped the all-girl squad barely missed a berth in the finals after finishing second in the Challenge Cup.
2015: Served as a base … helped Gannon advance to the All-Girl Division II finals at the NCA Collegiate National Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida, before finishing sixth in the nation.
High School: Cheered for head coaches Lorisa Thomas and Trystin Ahart at Candor (N.Y.) High School … served as a team captain for the varsity sideline and competitive cheer programs for three years … helped Candor win the conference championship all four years, being part of Candor's eight-year win streak … received the Iron Indian Award, given to a student-athlete who has participated in a sport for all four seasons … named to the honor roll every year … secured the sportsmanship scholarship … received the Gannon Maroon and Gold Award … cheered for 12 years prior to her collegiate career.
Personal: Criminal Justice major … is the daughter of Stephanie and Brent … has one sister … is a member of the North Hall Spirituality Chair Committee, Criminal Justice Club, Transforming Residents Abroad Via Engaged Learning (T.R.A.V.E.L) Program and Alpha Phi Sigma (National Criminal Justice Honor Society) at Gannon.
