Sutton returns as Gannon’s starting centerfielder in 2015 … transferred from Genesee (N.Y.) Community College prior to the 2013-14 academic year.

2014: Was one of three Golden Knights to start every game … named a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete … received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award … batted second in the line-up 20 times, sixth 10 times, fifth five times, fourth four times, eighth three times and seventh twice … hit .318 (21-66) with the bases empty … reached base 50 percent (15-30) of the time when leading off an inning … drove in a run 70 percent (7-10) of the time when hitting with a runner on third base and less than two outs … had 10 multiple-hit games, finishing the season as one of four Golden Knights to reach double digits … went 2-for-4 with one run during the second game of the season against Rio Grande … hit .364 (16-44) with five runs and four RBIs during the season-opening 12 games at the Russ-Matt Invitational in Winter Haven, Florida … recorded his first double, triple and home run in a Gannon uniform during the invitational … went 3-for-5 with two runs, four RBIs, one triple and one home run against Ashland … recorded three hits in back-to-back games against Ashland and Findlay … had six multiple-hit games during the Russ-Matt Invitational … scored a season-high three runs during an 8-6 victory against Walsh … produced a season-best five-game hitting streak April 16-19 … recorded a hit during 11 of the last 15 contests … had 30 consecutive errorless games March 5-April 16, a span of 67 fielding opportunities.
