2024: Pitched in three games with one start … had a 0-1 record with a 4.50 ERA … in four innings allowed two hits with five walks and a strikeout … threw two shutout innings in his last outing at Seton Hill (5/3/24) and opened the year with a shutout inning vs. Slippery Rock (4/21/24).

2023: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played for head coach John Flickinger at Derry Area High School … won three letters and also was a two-year letterwinner in basketball … went 2-2 with a 1.70 ERA as a senior, striking out 70 in 37 innings … hit .388 at the plate with seven doubles and 10 RBIs … earned first team All-Section honors as a pitcher and was a second team choice as an infielder … named Section Co-MVP and a first team All-Westmoreland County selection.

PERSONAL:  Finance major … son of Linda and Kevin Hood … has one sister (Lauren) … father played volleyball at Univ. of Pittsburgh … cousin Charlie Varriano played baseball at Wheeling University.
