Dirienzo is expected to compete for playing time as an infielder during his first season at Gannon in 2015.

High School: Played for head coach Steve Costea at Somerset (Pa.) High School … hit .425 as a senior … helped Somerset win the district championship, concluding the season with an 18-2 record … was part of four consecutive conference championships and three straight district titles … graduated with a 3.9 cumulative grade point average … was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Accounting major … has one sister and one brother … is the son of Beth and Luigi.
