Cardy leaves the Gannon program as the school's all-time leader in career runs scored (148), RBI (167), doubles (43), home runs (27) and total bases (341) at the time of his graduation. With 209 career hits, he finishes his Gannon tenure tied with Jared Wiesen (2013-16) tied for second all-time, just four behind assistant coach Nick Leslie for first.

High School: Played for head coach Brian Schmidt at Franklin (Pa.) High School … was a three-time all-conference selection … hit .436 as a senior, being named team MVP … helped Franklin finish 19-3 during his senior campaign … played for a Franklin team that won the region and district championships, before advancing to the state quarterfinals … was a two-sport athlete, serving as the team captain for baseball and football during his final two years.
