AT GENEVA: Enjoyed an illustrious career at Geneva for head coach Jeff Santarsiero … will go down as one of the greatest players ever at Geneva, finishing his career as a Golden Tornado last year ranked seventh all-time in points with 1,758 and 14th all-time in rebounds with 619 … a three-time All-Presidents' Athletic Conference first team selection, he played in 89 career games with 63 starts, averaging 19.8 ppg. and 7.0 rpg. for his career … in 2022-23, was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Player of the Year for the second straight season, the first time the PAC had a repeat winner for the conference's top player in almost 20 years … was a D3Hoops.com All-Region 7 first team honoree, the first Geneva player to earn first team All-Region accolades since joining NCAA Division III in 2011 … in 2021-22 Tipton was a second team All-Region selection … led Geneva to an 18-11 record as the Golden Tornado finished fourth at the NCCAA National Tournament ended the season leading Division III with 661 points in 27 games and ranked third in scoring at 24.5 ppg. … also led the team in rebounding (7.4 ppg.), steals (40) and blocked shots (27), adding 35 assists … shot 48.1 percent from the floor (225-of-468), with 65 3-pointers in 150 attempts (43.3 pct.), while shooting 76.8 percent from the line (146-of-190) … scored in double figures in 26 of 27 games with six double-doubles … had 19 games with 20-or-more points, including seven with 30-or-more points … scored a career-high 46 points vs. Thiel on Feb. 21, making 14-of-26 field goals, 8-of-15 3-pointers, and 10-of-10 free throws … the 46 points are tied for fifth in a game … his senior season rivaled his junior campaign when he scored in double figures in 25 of 26 games while finishing fourth in Division III in scoring average at 25.0 ppg. and leading Geneva with 9.4 rpg. … was named to the NABC All-Region 7 first team … scored 20 points on 18 occasions, including seven games of 30-or-more points and one 40-point effort … shot 51.4 pct. from the floor (217-of-422), 42.7 pct. on 3-pointers (38-of-89), and 78.6 pct. from the foul line (154-of-196) … had 11 double-doubles as a junior while being named the PAC Player of the Year … in the shortened 2020-21 season  earned first team All-PAC accolades after averaging 20.5 points and 7.1 rebounds, finishing second in the PAC in points, ninth in rebounds, first in steals (22), ninth in blocks (11), eighth in field goal percentage (52 pct.), fifth in free throw percentage (81 pct.) and first in three-point percentage (52 pct.) … started 10 of 11 games that season after appearing in all 26 games with one start as a freshman in 2019-20 … averaged 9.4 ppg. and 4.1 rpg.
