2024: Played in one game, starting at shortstop in the season opener at Grand Valley State (2/23/24) before going down with a season-ending injury … was 0-for-1.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Butler Area High School for head coach Joshua Forbes … was a three-year letterwinner and two-year starter in baseball along with a three-year starter and letterwinner in football and two-year letterwinner in basketball … in baseball earned first team All-Section honors as a senior and was the Pride Award recipient after being named the Defensive Player of the Year as a junior … hit .279 his final two years and had a .947 fielding percentage … helped Golden Tornadoes to 43-22 record the last three years … outstanding student who graduated in the top ten in his class (4.5438 GPA) and with Honors with Distinction and was a National Honor Society member … received the Commitment to Excellence Award in football in 2020 and 2022 and Heart and Soul Award in 2021 … a captain in both baseball and football.   

PERSONAL:  Engineering major … son of Stacy and Michael Slater … has one sister (Olivia).
