2019 (Sr.): Played in 48 games with 44 starts along the infield… Made 18 appearances at second base, 25 games at third base and one game at shortstop… Hit .255 with 10 doubles, one triple, two home runs and 18 RBI… Stole six bases in six attempts… Had 10 multi-hit games, including a four-hit effort against Clarion (3/29/19)… Preseason NCBWA All-Atlantic Region selection… Gannon went 27-10 with Steighner in the leadoff spot…  Walked 24 times… Hit .545 (6-of-11) with a runner on third and less than two outs… Second in the PSAC after being hit by a pitch 15 times… Homered in second game of the season against Northwood (2/23/18)… Had two hits (double, triple), walked twice, drove in two and scored three runs in Russ-Matt Invitational game against USciences (3/3/19)… Had a pair of hits and three RBI against IUP (4/13/19)… Delivered the game-winning walk-off single in opening round of the PSAC Tournament against East Stroudsburg (5/8/19)... 2018 (Jr.): 2018 All-PSAC First Team selection… 2018 D2CCA Baseball All-Atlantic Region Second Team selection… Played in 35 games and made 32 starts… Hit .319 with three home runs, 18 RBI and 13 walks… Has six multi-hit games and four games with multiple RBI… Made 14 starts at 2B and 18 starts at 3B… A key contributor in the bottom portion of the batting order, with assignments in the six, seven eight and nine spots in the lineup… Scored 24 runs… Had a .473 slugging % and a .414 OBP… Notched a .961 fielding percentage… Scored multiple runs in six games… Cracked three hits in consecutive games against Walsh (3/3/18) and Ashland (3/18/18)… Also had three-hit games against IUP (4/7/18) and Slippery Rock (5/4/18)..

2017: Played in nine games, starting four at shortstop … made his collegiate debut against LIU Post during Gannon’s fourth game of the season … recorded his first career hit and run during his first career start, helping Gannon defeat Wheeling Jesuit 3-2 at the Russ-Matt Invitational in Winter Haven, Florida … scored another run during a 5-3 victory against Tiffin at the Russ-Matt Invitational … added runs as a pinch-runner against Northwood (Mich.) and Seton Hill.

2016: Named a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete … did not compete in a varsity game.

High School: Played for head coach Todd Erdos at Butler (Pa.) High School … named to the all-section second team as a shortstop … served as a team captain … was part of a section co-championship team as a junior … helped Butler make back-to-back postseason appearances … was a member of the honor roll.

Personal: Mechanical Engineering major … is the son of Sharon and Gil.
