Godden is expected to compete for a spot in Gannon’s pitching rotation in 2015 … transferred from Mercyhurst North East prior to the 2013-14 academic year.

2014: Made seven pitching appearances during his first season at Gannon, starting three … produced Gannon’s lowest earned run average (2.73) … finished fourth on the team in strikeouts (71) and innings pitched (26.1) … limited opponents to a .226 average (12-53) with the bases empty and .103 average (3-29) with two outs … recorded the third no-hitter in program history during his Gannon debut against Findlay, striking out a season-high eight and walking two … followed with relief appearances against Ohio Dominican and California (Pa.), allowing no earned runs during both outings … earned his first career victory with a 3-2 complete-game win against nationally-ranked Seton Hill … allowed only one earned run on five hits against the Griffins, striking out three … concluded the season with four scoreless innings against Pitt-Johnstown.

At Mercyhurst North East: Played for head coach Dan Bertolini … helped Mercyhurst North East win the Region 3 championship.

High School: Played for head coach John Horton at Mayfield Secondary School in Brampton, Ontario.

Personal: Sport and Exercise Science major … has two brothers … is the son of Angela and George.
