Biography

2024:  Served as a pitcher in first season as a Golden Knight… appeared in six games with three starts on the mound … was 0-2 with a 9.37 ERA … in 16.1 innings allowed 26 hits and 10 walks while striking out nine.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played for head coach Andrew Heck at North Allegheny High School … a two-year starter who earned second tea, all-conference honors … had lowest ERA in WPIAL in 2022 at 0.47 … in 55 innings struck out 56 while walking 14 … honor roll student all four years.

PERSONAL: Applied Exercise Science major … son of Deborah and Kevin Smith … father played football at Pitt from 1978-82 and mother competed in track & field at Carlow College from 1986-90.
