Gannon University Athletics

Nejman is expected to compete at the base or tumbler position for the third consecutive season in 2018 … is a versatile athlete with the ability to also compete in the back.

2017: Was one of 12 student-athletes to be named a National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Association (NCATA) All-American … landed a spot on the All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) first team … was part of a third-place finish in the tumbling trio heat at the NCATA National Championships with an 8.45 score … named ECAC Athlete of the Week on April 18 after being a double-winner at Hawaii Pacific, aiding the Lady Knights in the synchronized toss heat that earned 9.55 points and contributing to the 9.35 points earned in the trio pass … was part of 16 heat victories.

2016: Named to the NCATA weekly honor roll on February 26 after being part of victories during eight heats and a tie in one en route to a 272.380-258.765 victory against Concordia (Wis.) in the home opener … took first individually in the aerial pass against Concordia (Wis.), defeating her opponent 9.50-8.90 … helped Gannon record a perfect 10 in the pyramid flip against Concordia (Wis.).

High School: Competed under head coach Christopher Gilbert at Lakettes Gymnastics Academy while attending Villa Maria (Pa.) Academy … was a level 10 gymnast for four years … won gold on the floor exercise at numerous regional competitions.

Personal: Sport and Exercise Science major … is the daughter of Jean and Robert … has one brother … is a member of the Gannon Dean’s List.
