2008 Fall A Team - Ashley Tubbs
Membership in the Golden Knight’s “A” Team represents the very best in intercollegiate athletics. Thirty-three students have qualified by achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA during the most recently completed semester. Gannon’s 347 student-athletes earned a cumulative GPA of 3.22 this past fall semester.
Ashley Tubbs, a senior psychology major, and member of the women’s volleyball team is named to the “A” team after achieving a 4.0 GPA for the fall 2008 semester.
Tubbs has been named to the GLIAC All-Academic Volleyball Team for two years, the All-GLIAC Volleyball honorable mention team, and to ESPN the Magazine’s Academic All-District II Volleyball first team. In addition the athletics, Tubbs is a member of Psi Chi, a psychology honor society. She has also been on the Dean's List for seven semesters.
Tubbs will graduate in May, and is hoping to attend graduate school and pursue a career as a secondary school counselor.
