2008 Fall A Team - Kristen Sebunia
Membership in the Golden Knight’s “A” Team represents the very best in intercollegiate athletics. Thirty-three students have qualified by achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA during the most recently completed semester. Gannon’s 347 student-athletes earned a cumulative GPA of 3.22 this past fall semester.
Kristen Sebunia started off her Gannon career by earning a 4.0 during her first semester at Gannon. Sebunia is an occupational therapy major, and is a member of the softball team. The Erie, PA native is enjoying her first season as a Lady Knight.
“I love playing sports at the collegiate level because competition is at its highest. Not only do we compete on the field, but each practice and work out is designed to make both the player and the team better. I love the family that a team becomes and the atmosphere that is created with the individuals we spend each and every day with.”
Upon graduation, Sebunia is hoping to work as an occupational therapist in either pediatrics or with war veterans. She is involved in SOTA (Students of Occupational Therapy Association) and Phi Eta Sigma, an honors society. She also works at the Erie Yacht Club and at her church rectory on the weekends. During the summer, she enjoys water-skiing, wakeboarding and spending time at the beach.
