2008 Fall A Team - Jenna Szczepanski

Membership in the Golden Knight’s “A” Team represents the very best in intercollegiate athletics. Thirty-three students have qualified by achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA during the most recently completed semester. Gannon’s 347 student-athletes earned a cumulative GPA of 3.22 this past fall semester.

Jenna Szczepanksi, a freshman physical therapy major from West Seneca, NY, joins the “A” team after achieving a 4.0 after her first semester at Gannon. She also received the Atlantic Region Academic All American Award during this past cross country season. Szczepanksi said she enjoys the higher level of competition that college sports brings.

”I enjoy the harder practices at the college level. The coaches really push you to go beyond what you thought you were capable of. I love the team too. We get really close during the season, and many of my closest friends are on the team. As far as personal goals go, I hope to work extra hard in the offseason in order to drop my time and move up in rank on the team.”

Szczepanski is also a member of Phi Eta Sigma, and hopes to join the Physical Therapy club.
