2008 Fall A Team - Jacque Huff

Membership in the Golden Knight’s “A” Team represents the very best in intercollegiate athletics. Thirty-three students have qualified by achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA during the most recently completed semester. Gannon’s 347 student-athletes earned a cumulative GPA of 3.22 this past fall semester.

Jacque Huff, a freshman elementary education major from Bradenville, PA, started off her Gannon career by achieving a 4.0 while being a member of the cross country team. Huff found that the transition to college was easier since she was a member of the cross country team.

“Participating in cross country enabled me to meet people here at Gannon quicker than I would have if I didn't participate in a sport. I formed a great deal of new friendships with my teammates. I enjoyed going to different parks and fields for practices as well as traveling for meets. A personal goal is to become a better runner and improve my times.

Huff has also been named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester, and is a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. She hopes to someday be a teacher at a public school in Pennsylvania.
