2008 Fall A Team - Colleen Harriger
Membership in the Golden Knight’s “A” Team represents the very best in intercollegiate athletics. Thirty-three students have qualified by achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA during the most recently completed semester. Gannon’s 347 student-athletes earned a cumulative GPA of 3.22 this past fall semester.
Colleen Harriger earned a 4.0 GPA during her first semester at Gannon, in addition to being a member of both water polo and swimming. She graduate of McDowell high school, and competes in the Individual Medley and breaststroke. She also is involved in the Honors program.
Harriger is planning on attending medical school and pursuing a job as a surgeon, because she was always interested in the medical field and has a desire to help people. She enjoys competing in sports because it gives her a break from academics.
