2009 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Atlantic Regional Tickets

ERIE, Pa. - Gannon officials have announced ticket policies for season ticket holders and advance ticket sales for this weekend’s NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Atlantic Regional hosted by Gannon University at the Hammermill Center.

Per NCAA championship bylaws, Gannon University must reserve the first two rows behind each team bench to accommodate the fans of the teams participating in that current game. The policy will eliminate 80 seats from the reserved seating areas since each team will have the ability to put their fans in those seats.

Thus, Gannon will distribute all reserved seats (plush and chairback) on a first-come, first-served basis for all season ticket holders, beginning Wednesday, March 11 at 8:30 a.m. at the Hammermill Center. Please note this is a change from past ticket pre-sale locations. There will be 400 reserved seats available for sale and can only be purchased as a four-session (entire tournament) package. Cost is $40.

Only season ticket holders are eligible to purchase those 400 reserved seats and must show their season ticket pass when buying tickets. Also, due to the fact that the reserved seating section has been reduced, all reserved seating will be filled in order. Season ticket holders will not have the option to purchase their same seats. There will be no exceptions. Gannon apologizes for the inconvenience, but can’t change the policy based on the NCAA bylaws.

Season ticket holders will only be able to buy one seat per season ticket. So, it is highly recommended that multiple season ticket passes are present if you want seats together.
In addition to the reserved seating policy, all-tournament general admission tickets will be available in advance. The package includes admission to all four sessions and costs $32 for adults and $16 for students and senior citizens. The ticket pre-sale will run Wednesday, March 11 and Thursday, March 12 from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Hammermill Center. Again, please note the change in venue from past ticket pre-sales.

If tickets remain available, single-session general admission tickets for Saturday’s sessions will be on sale Friday, March 13 from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Hammermill Center. Single-session general admission tickets cost $8 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens. If tickets still remain, ticket windows open at the Hammermill Center one hour prior to the start of each session.
