When asked what she enjoyed most about playing softball at the college level, Conner said, “I met the girls over the summer, so when I came to Gannon my freshman year, I already knew people. It made the transition from high school to college a lot easier. I graduated this year, so I hope to start coaching a younger girls softball team as soon as I get a job.”
“I am hoping to work as an occupational therapist either in outpatient pediatrics or in the school district. I chose this career because I wanted to work with children, Conner said. “This job enables me to interact with others and it also keeps me active, so I don't have to sit at a desk all day.”
During her time at Gannon, Conner was involved in SOTA, an occupational therapy club, and Pi Theta Episilon. She enjoyed her summer by traveling to Aruba for a week, and then began her first rotation at Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
