2008 Spring A Team - Jamie Shadd
Membership in the Golden Knight’s “A” Team represents the very best in intercollegiate athletics. Thirty-four students have qualified by achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA during the most recent completed semester. Gannon’s 341 student-athletes earned a cumulative GPA of 3.22 this past spring semester.
During her time at Gannon, Jamie Shadd excelled in the classroom, and on the soccer field. She earned her starting position by being one of Gannon’s top scorers. The midfielder was a member of the Dean’s List, and was named to the GLIAC All-Academic team.
“I love everything about playing soccer at the college level,” said Shadd. “My personal goals for this season are to score some goals, have fun, and to make NCAA playoffs.”
She is currently working on Masters Degree in Education and hopes to become a special education teacher and a soccer coach when she finishes school.
Shadd spent the summer coaching youth soccer camps, traveling to San Diego to visit friends, and went to Florida with her family.
