2008 Spring A Team - Carol Kienzl
Membership in the Golden Knight’s “A” Team represents the very best in intercollegiate athletics. Thirty-four students have qualified by achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA during the most recent completed semester. Gannon’s 341 student-athletes earned a cumulative GPA of 3.22 this past spring semester.
Carol Kienzl is a key player for the Lady Knights softball team. She started 51 games in left field, and batted .333. for the 2008 season. She also started every game as a true freshman.
“I love playing a competitive sport and softball was always something I enjoyed ever since I was young. I love the intensity, drive, and experience softball has to offer for me.”
This fall, Kienzl will be a junior at Gannon, where she majors in Criminal Justice.
“I chose Criminal Justice because I love working with people and being able to help the community and others. In the future I hope to help people find their way back into the community and to motivate them to become law-abiding citizens.”
Kieznl spent the summer interning at the Baldwin Borough Building.
