Expected to compete in mid/distance freestyle events as a sophomore in 2018-19.

2017-18: Participated in the 200-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle, 1,000-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke and 200-yard backstroke during his rookie season ... hit the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC)-qualifying time all eight times he swam the 200-yard backstroke, clocking his season-best time of 1:55.58 during the prelims of the PSAC Championships ... ended up coming in 11th place at the conference championships with a time of 1:55.86 in the finals ... recorded the PSAC-qualifying time four times in the 500-yard freestyle, twice in the 1,000-yard freestyle and once in the 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke ... won gold in the 1,000-yard freestyle against Shippensburg (10:27.12) ... swam with the 200-yard freestyle, 400-yard freestyle, 800-yard freestyle, 200-yard medley and 400-yard medley relay teams throughout the season.

High School: Swam for head coach Matt Ziders at Jackson (Ohio) High School … named to the All-Federal League and all-county teams four times each … named Jackson’s team MVP … was part of four league championships and four sectional titles … helped Jackson finish district runner-up once … contributed to three teams that qualified for the state championships … was a two-sport athlete, earning All-Federal League honors three times in cross country … earned all-county honors twice in cross country … received the coaches award as a member of the cross country team … posted a season-best 5k time of 16 minutes and 36 seconds … helped Jackson win a league championship … was part of two district runner-up teams … helped Jackson qualify for three consecutive state championships … received the Nation Award for Sportsmanship and Excellence … graduated cum laude … was an honors graduate ... received the Presidential Award of Excellence ... was a member of the National Honor Society … named to the honor roll.

Personal: Sport and Exercise Science/Physical Therapy major … is the son of Maureen and Keith … has one sister and one brother … is a two-sport athlete at Gannon, competing with the swim and cross country teams.
