Eckelberry is expected to compete for playing time as a second baseman or shortstop in 2018 … enters her junior campaign 20th all-time at Gannon since 2000 in hit by pitches (5).

2017: Saw action in five games … named a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete … received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award … earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete honors … served as a pinch runner during all five appearances.

2016: Played in 13 games, starting three … named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … received the NCAA Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award … earned NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors … made two starts as a designated player and one at second base … hit .353 (6-17) against right-handers, .444 (4-9) with runners on base and .500 (3-6) with runners in scoring position … reached base three times in five at-bats as a lead-off hitter … drove home a run during both at-bats with a runner on third base and less than two outs … produced a two-run, pinch-hit single during a 7-0 victory against Fairmont State at the Salem Invitational … drove in runs during three consecutive games at the Salem Invitational … had a pair of multiple-hit games … went 2-for-2 against Seton Hill, before going 2-for-4 against Point Park … was errorless in 12 fielding opportunities. 

2015: Saw action in 15 games as a true freshman, starting 11 … made 10 starts at third base and one at second base … named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … earned NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors … pinch hit three times … recorded a hit, walk and hit by pitch as a pinch hitter … produced a hit during her only plate appearance with the bases loaded … drove home a run both times when hitting with a runner on third base and less than two outs … made her first career appearance as the starting third baseman against Ashland at the National Training Center (NTC) Games in Clermont, Florida … recorded her first career hit against Wheeling Jesuit and scored her first career run against Walsh at the NTC Games … generated her first career RBI against Clarion … went 1-for-3 with one run and two RBIs against St. Augustine’s at the NCAA Tournament.

High School: Played for head coach Jerry Goodpasture at North Canton Hoover (Ohio) High School … helped her team capture four consecutive Ohio State Division I titles ... produced a .375 career average … received All-Federal League honors ... served as a team captain ... was a member of the National Honor Society for two years ... graduated summa cum laude ... was a member of the Leadership Council.
