Lipka is expected to compete for playing time as an outfielder in 2014.

2013: Saw action in 24 games as a true freshman, starting nine … made eight starts in left field and one in right field … saw her first collegiate action during a 6-4 eight-inning victory against Georgian Court in the season opener, but didn’t have an at-bat … received her first career plate appearance as a pinch hitter during an 11-4 win against the University of Mary (N.D.) … recorded her first career hit during a 5-4 victory against Bethel (Minn.) in the final contest of the National Training Center Games in Clermont, Florida … scored a run during five different games, crossing the plate for the first time in her career during a 5-4 win against Wilmington (Del.).

High School: Played for head coach Deborah Schrufer at Frontier Central (N.Y.) High School … named to the all-conference second team as a junior … received the perfect attendance award all four years.

Personal: Physician Assistant major … is a member of Gannon’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) … has two sisters and one brother … is the daughter of Peggie and Chet.
