2009: Finished the season with 33 goals on 65 shots ...finished fifth on the team in steals (37) and third in earned kick-outs (18) ... named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPA) Men's Water Polo All-Academic “Excellent” team reserved for cumulative GPAs between 3.20 and 3.40 ... enjoyed a breakout game against Penn State Behrend, scoring four goals in the 25-12 victory ... recorded a hat trick in all three games against Penn State Behrend, totaling 11 goals ... finished with five hat tricks for the season ... had a career-high five goals against Mercyhurst at the CWPA Southern Division Championships ... 17 of his 33 goals came during the final seven games of the season.
2008: Recorded eight goals, six assists, and 20 steals as a true freshman … named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPA) Men’s Water Polo All-Academic “Outstanding” team, which is reserved for student-athletes with cumulative grade-point averages between 3.71 and 4.00 … scored his first two career goals during a 14-7 victory against Lindenwood (Mo.) in the season-opening match at the U.S. Naval Academy Tournament … netted multiple goals in a match twice … added two goals during a 14-7 victory against Penn State Behrend … produced a goal at NCAA Division I Fordham … scored against Washington & Jefferson in the CWPA Southern Division Championships seventh-place match.
High School: Played for head coaches Tim Caldwell and Keith Dombkowski at Homewood-Flossmoor (Ill.) High School ... named Homewood-Flossmoor’s Student-Athlete of the Year as a senior … earned all-america honors during his final season … was a three-time all-sectional, two-time all-conference, and two-time all-state selection … named team MVP as a senior and team’s most improved player as a sophomore … was a two-sport athlete, winning the sectional swimming championship in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle as a junior.
