LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Gannon volleyball's Carlee Webber (Anamosa, IA/Marion) has been named the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.

The honor marks the first PSAC weekly award for the Gannon volleyball program this season and the first of Webber's career.

The 5-foot-11 middle blocker from Anamosa, Iowa, has stepped up for the Golden Knights early this season and delivered a strong all-around performance during the Gannon Invitational. Webber helped Gannon post a perfect 3-0 record over the weekend, improving to 4-2 on the season.

Webber was a force at the net, totaling a team-high 13 blocks, including three solo blocks and 10 block assists, while averaging 1.08 blocks per set over 12 sets.

She was equally effective offensively, totaling 26 kills with just five errors on 45 attacks for a team-best .467 hitting percentage. Webber averaged 2.17 kills per set and finished the weekend with 36 points.
