ERIE, Pa. – The Gannon men's water polo team wrapped up play at the Laker Invitational with a commanding 22-6 victory over Penn State Behrend on Sunday afternoon at Hallman Aquatics Center.
Nikiforos Liantziris (Athens, Greece/1o EPAL Zografou) led the Golden Knights with five goals and five assists, while
Victor Volant (Fuveau, France/Font d'Aurumy) and
Callum Snider-Mills (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) each recorded hat tricks. Gannon improved to 6-8 on the season after scoring seven goals in the third quarter and six in the fourth to pull away from the Lions.
The Golden Knights received goals from 12 different players and finished with 37 shots in the victory.
