GREENSBURG, Pa. — Gannon dropped both ends of a PSAC doubleheader at Seton Hill on Friday afternoon, falling 5-3 in game one before a 14-2 setback in game two.
The Golden Knights move to 14-17 overall following the twinbill.

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME ONE
Seton Hill struck early, plating three runs in the opening inning behind a pair of doubles and a run-scoring single to take immediate control.
The Griffins added single runs in the third and fourth innings to extend the lead to 5-0 before Gannon mounted a response midway through the game.
The Golden Knights broke through in the fourth, capitalizing on defensive miscues as
Ashley Fox (Cowansville, Pa./Karns City) delivered an RBI single to get Gannon on the board.
Gannon continued to chip away in the fifth inning, as
Jenna Clontz (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong) and
Josie Spano (Hudson, Ohio/Western Reserve Academy) reached base to set the table for
Bella Atherton (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong), who ripped a two-run double to right field to cut the deficit to 5-3.
The Knights threatened late with runners on in the seventh, but were unable to push across additional runs as Seton Hill held on for the win.
In the circle,
Miranda Biles (Hartstown, Pa./Jamestown Area) tossed a complete game, allowing five runs on seven hits while striking out five.
HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME TWO
Seton Hill wasted no time in game two, erupting for seven runs in the first inning behind a pair of home runs and timely hitting to seize early momentum.
The Griffins added another seven-run frame in the third, highlighted by a grand slam, to extend the lead to 14-0.
Gannon got on the board in the fourth inning when
Lindsay Breuer (Mason, Ohio/Mason) doubled home a run, and added another in the fifth as
Milla Sanchez (Upland, Cal./Claremont) delivered an RBI double down the right field line.
Despite the late push, the early deficit proved too much as Seton Hill secured the run-rule victory.
