Softball Splits Opening Day at Space Coast Games


MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Gannon softball team opened its Spring Break trip Wednesday at the Space Coast Games in Melbourne, Florida, splitting a pair of contests. The Golden Knights dropped a 1–0 decision to St. Cloud State in the opener before responding with an 8–5 victory over Minnesota Crookston in the nightcap.

GAME ONE – ST. CLOUD STATE

In the opener, the Golden Knights were limited to four hits in a 1–0 loss to St. Cloud State. The Huskies scored the game's lone run in the second inning on an RBI double.
