INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA today released its latest set of Division II men's basketball regional rankings, with No. 5 Gannon continuing to hold the top spot in the Atlantic Region poll.
The Golden Knights sit atop the regional rankings as postseason play approaches.
Gannon finished the regular season with a 26-2 overall record and a 19-1 mark in PSAC play, earning the No. 1 seed in the 2026 PSAC Men's Basketball Tournament. The Golden Knights will host No. 4 East seed East Stroudsburg in the PSAC Quarterfinals on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. inside the Highmark Events Center.
West Liberty, the reigning Atlantic Regional champion, is second in the poll. Fairmont State holds the third spot, while Fayetteville State is ranked fourth. California (Pa.) rounds out the top five.
Indiana (Pa.) sits sixth in the rankings, followed by Virginia Union in seventh. Charleston (W.Va.) is eighth, Millersville ninth, and West Chester completes the top ten.
The NCAA will announce the 64-team field for the 2026 NCAA Division II Tournament on Sunday, March 8, with conference tournament champions earning automatic bids and additional at-large selections determined by the regional rankings.
