ERIE, Pa. – The No. 9 Gannon Acrobatics & Tumbling team defeated No. 8 Mary Hardin-Baylor, 263.295–248.895, Wednesday evening inside the Highmark Events Center.
On Senior Night, the Golden Knights turned in a complete performance, taking the lead after the Compulsory event and never relinquishing control.
Gannon opened strong with a 37.65 in the Compulsory event and continued to build its advantage throughout the meet. The Golden Knights posted a 29.50 in Pyramid and a 53.825 in Tumbling before closing with an 86.170 in the Team event to seal the win.
With the victory, Gannon remained undefeated at home at 5-0 on the season while earning its third win over a ranked opponent and second against a top-10 team. Following the meet, Gannon honored its 11 seniors as part of Senior Night.
