ERIE, Pa. – Easton Bazzoli's team has been here before against the Fighting Scots. You may remember last season, when GU trailed Edinboro by 14 at the break on the road before outscoring their opponent 60-28 to claim the win.

Wednesday was even more staggering. Trailing at the half for the first time all season, the Golden Knights erupted for 65 second half points, outscoring Edinboro 65-26 to win their eighth straight and 14th conference game, sweeping the regular season series.

Gannon shot 57.9 percent from the field in the second half while forcing turnovers and capitalizing in transition. The Golden Knights finished with 37 fast-break points and 44 points from the bench in the victory.

It's the ninth time on the season that Gannon has scored more than 100 points. It's also the eighth straight win for the Golden Knights, who are 12-0 inside the Highmark Events Center. In fact, GU still has yet to play a home game that ended in a margin of victory fewer than double digits.
