ERIE, PA - Fans who planning on attending Gannon athletic events via motor vehicle will need to consider road closures along Erie's Bayfront.

-As of Tuesday, September 3rd, the Bayfront Parkway wil be closed between the Sassafras Street Extension & Holland Street. This closure is expected to last roughly one (1) year.

-There will be no Bayfront access from State Street. State will be closed between 2nd Street & East Front Street during the construction project.

In addition, the following traffic patterns will be observed: 

•Sassafras Street Extension is closed from the parkway south to the bluff.

•West 3rd Street between Peach and Sassafras have been converted from one-way to two-way traffic; parking is prohibited on both sides of the street.

•Parking is prohibited on West 2nd Street from Peach to Sassafras, East 3rd Street from French Street to Holland Street, and Holland Street from East 3rd Street to East 6th Street.

Any through traffic, including fans looking to attend home Gannon sporting events, are encouraged to use 12th Street.
