Golden Knights Conclude Home Dual Season with 26-18 Loss to Ashland

ERIE, Pa. – Gannon hosted Ashland for the final home dual of the 2024-25 campaign in a meeting between two nationally-ranked teams. Both teams came in with starters missing due to injuries and illness but the match was still highly competitive while featuring some top wrestlers.

For the second week in a row the Golden Knights held an early lead only to see the opponent come back in the upper weight classes. Ashland won six of the final seven bouts to hand the Golden Knights a 26-18 defeat. Gannon came in ranked 12th by The Open Mat and 22nd by the NWCA while Ashland was 10th and 21st, respectively.
