Game Times, Ticket Pre-Sale Announced for Atlantic Regional

ERIE, Pa. – The NCAA today announced the times for the upcoming men's and women's Atlantic Regionals hosted by Gannon later this week. The regionals will be unique since they will be split regionals with Gannon earning the right to host both the men's and women's tournaments as the top seeds.

The Atlantic Regional will take place beginning Friday, March 15 at Hagerty Family Events Center. Friday's first two contests will be half of the women's Atlantic Regional. At 12 noon No. 4 seed Lock Haven (28-3) will play No. 5 seed California (Pa.) (23-8) in a quarterfinal game. The second quarterfinal game will follow at 2:30 p.m. with top seed Gannon (32-2) hosting No. 8 seed West Virginia State (21-10).

Fairmont State (26-5) will host the other half of the women's Atlantic Regional as the number two seed, facing No. 7 seed West Chester (24-6) on Friday. The other quarterfinal in Fairmont, W. Va. will feature No. 3 seed Fayetteville State (27-2) vs. No. 6 seed Indiana (Pa.) (21-7).

Back at Gannon the men's quarterfinal action for the Atlantic Regional will follow the two women's games on Friday. The No. 1 Gannon (29-2) men will host Lincoln (17-13), the eighth seed, at 5:00 p.m. The first day wraps up at 7:30 p.m. with No. 4 West Liberty (26-5) opposing No. 5 Millersville (24-6).

California (Pa.), meanwhile, is the number two seed on the men's side and will host the other men's quarterfinal games on Friday. The 27-4 Vulcans will host No. 7 West Virginia State (20-9) while No. 3 Charleston (WV) opposes No. 6 Concord (22-7).

Friday's winners at each site will meet on Saturday, March 16 at that same site in the semifinals. At Gannon the women's semifinal gets underway at 5:00 p.m. with the men's semifinal to follow at 7:30 p.m. The championship games are set for Tuesday, March 19 with the highest remaining seed from the semifinals hosting the championships games in the men's and women's regionals.

PRE-SALE TICKET POLICY ANNOUNCED
Gannon has announced the ticket policy for the upcoming Atlantic Regional. Tickets will go on sale for Gannon season tickets holders on Wednesday, March 13 at a time to be announced. Tickets for the general public will be on sale on Thursday, March 14. The gates will then open on Friday, March 15 at 10:30 a.m. Please watch for an upcoming announcement on the time and location for the pre-sale.
